Students will explore the history of skating while highlighting the significant contributions of BIPOC communities. They will understand how skating has evolved culturally, socially, and technologically, and its impact on BIPOC communities. Students will also gain critical thinking and research skills by using various resources to create a presentation on a notable BIPOC skater.
